“This program has taught me how to adapt to change, it has taught me humility and how to own up to my mistakes. It has helped me learn who I am as a person, an individual without drugs or alcohol. It has brought me closer to God and helped me build a strong relationship with him and how to fully trust in the Lord. I know God has me in any situations and lesson. It has taught me how to trust others with my emotions and be vulnerable and how to look up to people and have goals for myself and look forward to the future.”

"This program has taught me how to love myself and to learn to love life again and how to enjoy life. It has brought me a lot closer to God. It’s also showed me how I’ve taken advantage of my children and the life God has given me but it’s teaching me how to be grateful for those things and to make God the leader of my life. It has taught me how to have compassion for myself and give myself grace from where I came from to where I am now. It has taught me to not stuff my feelings, to be open, humble, honest, teachable and lovable. My leaders have been put into my life for a short period of time but my job is to listen to them and to trust them because God sent them to me.”

“When I first came to the Well I was basically a shell of a human. I felt defeated and darkness in my heart and life. I wasn’t close with God and didn’t talk to him. When I came here I really struggled in the beginning, it was hard. I had to have spiritual leaders who were hard on me and encouraged me and held the line with me and I wasn’t used to that. I’ve been here two months and they have built me up and I’ve gotten closer with God and I’ve learned to go to Him with things. Every day is a struggle but with him and through Him I can get through it and they really teach us that here. They teach us how to talk to him and be with Him.”

We work at a therapeutic work site which has taught me how to go into the world and use those lifeskill to be a productive member of society. I have developed a relationship with Jesus Christ and in that He has restored my relationships with my family and my children. He has restored my health. I have been saved and was baptized and for that I will forever be grateful.”
