Why we created The Well
The vision for The Well came about after encountering heartbreaking stories like this one. The founder of Eagles Nest Regeneration was at court with a young man in Floyd County, waiting for his case to be heard. During their wait, they witnessed a young lady being brought into the courtroom. Her story, shared by those in the courtroom, deeply moved us.
She was struggling with a severe methamphetamine addiction and had reached a point where she felt utterly hopeless. With no idea where to turn for help, she made a desperate decision: she called the police on herself, leading to her arrest, just so she could find a way out of her addiction. This moment was a profound wake-up call for us. It highlighted the desperate need for accessible support and resources for women like her, who are battling substance abuse and feeling lost.
We realized then that we had the resources and the ability to make a difference. We believed it was a calling, something we were meant to do. And so, The Well was born—a place dedicated to providing the help and hope that women in crisis so desperately need.
Our Vision
Eagles Nest Regeneration has proven track record of helping men live in sustainable recovery. We opened Floyd women’s program, The Well, in 2023. It has been successful since opening and now has a waiting list. We want to extend our reach for women by opening Lynchburg location, where ENR already has a successful men’s program as well. There is A LOT of work that needs to be done on The Well Lynchburg house. Funds will go towards things like paint, lumber, electrical, appliances, furniture, etc.
